We had a fabulous time at this quaint boutique hotel in the downtown area of Jackson. Highly recommend walking to Martins or Hal and Mal’s for lunch and dinner. The breakfast here is included and was wonderful!

What an amazing boutique hotel in downtown Jackson Mississippi! We stayed at the Old Capitol Inn on August 1, 2026. We stayed in a King Jacuzzi Room (Beauvoir). We were greated warmly and efficiently when we arrived. Secure Parking was right at the hotel. Our room was a two story extravaganza. The top floor was a sitting area, while the downstairs had a great and comfortable King Bed and a large two person Jacuzzi in the bathroom. The separate shower was amazing with jets at multiple levels. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Wine and cocktails were available at a small bar in the main level of the hotel. Service was excellent. In particular Princeton made our stay expecially nice by telling us about the history of the hotel, checking us in efficiently, and getting us drinks at the bar. He and all the staff we encourtered were kind, professional, gracious, and helpful. The outdoor garden area was particularly enjoyable. The interior decor was perfect for this quaint hotel. We had a great experience and we would stay there again.

This beautiful boutique hotel is the very definition of hospitality…from the beginning to the end of our stay! Our room was clean, beautifully decorated, with all of the exceptional comforts you’d expect. The gated onsite parking Is a plus, as is the full breakfast included in the room rate. We didn’t have time to enjoy the courtyard fountain, but its a beautiful space for an afternoon cocktail. Also, they have an event space should you need a place for a reception or business meeting. Old Capitol Inn is safe and quiet, close to several museums and the state capital, while also being about a mile from the convention center. We’ll definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful and unique hotel with incredible customer service. Great value as breakfast and parking are included. The breakfast featured “real” eggs and delicious items with very fresh fruit. The room and bathroom were very comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful courtyard and terrace. Would definitely stay here again.
